Notes from a studio that still works in the field.

I started Labstory in 2017 in a cramped room in Semarang. Since then we have handled 200+ projects, mostly company profiles, event documentation and short narrative films for corporate clients and small businesses. This blog is how I share what we learn in the field — sometimes failing, sometimes succeeding, always honest.

Bareta and Dwi from the Labstory team write now and then too, mostly on the technical side of photography and editing.
